Archaeological Sites Urbs Salvia Urbs Salvia is the largest archaeological park in the Marche region. The city was born in the 2nd century AD, while the most substantial part of the monuments was built in the Flavia age. After the destruction of the city in 408-409 AD by Alarico, the inhabitants took refuge on the Hill of San Biagio, giving rise to the first nucleus of Urbisaglia located in the Castro of Orbesallia.
