Genoa - Zoological Gardens and Aquariums Acquario di Genova The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest Italian aquarium, the second in Europe, after that of Valencia and the ninth in the world. This is located in the sixteenth-century ancient port of Genoa. The route winds over a total area of 9,700 square meters. The 39 tanks host different fish and reptiles, and reconstruct the natural environments originating in the individual species for educational purposes.
