According to testimonies, the Tower was erected around the twelfth century. The current appearance of the tower is the result of a deep restoration that took place in the '800, which gave it a neoclassical style. Inside there are numerous stucco decorations, carefully curated by Antonio Giongo. Today, the tower hosts several exhibitions and events in the area.

The Green Tower is located near the area of the walls of Teodorico, in Trento. According to archaeologists, studying the walls of the building, we trace the origin of the Tower, which was erected in the Etruscan era. According to testimonies, in the Middle Ages, the Tower was a prison where the prisoners were tortured in a terrible way.

The Chalk Tower, known as' Kreideturm ', was erected in the 12th century, when the castles surrounding the area were built. He had a surveillance function, from where the counts of the castles controlled the territory. Currently, the tower is in a state of total abandonment.

The construction of Torre Tonda dates back to the Roman period. This, together with other towers, now destroyed, were used as the observation point of the valley. The towers were communicating with each other and is thought to be part of a much larger defense system connected to the castle above.

Torre Massarello, also known as the “Arcidiaconale”, was built during the Middle Ages. It took its name from Angelo Massarelli, a famous personality in the religious world of the time, who lived for several years inside the tower itself. The structure has late Gothic architectural elements, while the rooms are decorated with frescoes and special ornaments. Today, the building is in an excellent state of preservation, and it can be visited by the public.

The Tower of the Twelve, considered a symbol of the city, was built between 1468 and 1473. The building is located in the center of the city and since 1472 divides the old city from the new one. The 46 meters high tower was built in the Gothic style. In the courtyard of the town hall there is a stele of the God Mitra and also a Roman milestone. The tower continues to maintain its splendor, which distinguishes it from other buildings.

The Vanga Tower was erected in the thirteenth century at the behest of Prince Frederick Vanga, from whom it also took its name. The structure has a square plan, almost 40 m high, and was used to monitor all the circulation of the adjacent area. The tower is made of brick and decorated with three windows. For many years it was used as a prison, while today, it hosts several exhibitions in the area.
