For the year 2013 it obtained the prestigious international Blue Flag award thanks to the clear waters, the beach and the eco-friendly tourism and environmental management policies of this resource from part of the municipality of Levico Terme.

Lake Malga Bissina is an artificial lake of very impressive size. Located at 1780 meters, it is the result of an impressive intervention that allowed the use for hydroelectric purposes of the significant water resources of the Val di Fumo.

Lake Venerocolo is an artificial lake located in Val d'Avio. Built for hydroelectric purposes, it is supported by a dam built in 1959. A peculiar feature of this lake is its light color, tending to gray.

Lake Pantano dell'Avio is an artificial lake located in the upper Val d'Avio, in the province of Brescia. Located at 2,378 meters above sea level, it is by extension the second largest lake in Val Camonica, after Lake Arno.
