The Agriturismo Tholos is located in the ancient stone town of Roccamorice, set at
700 meters altitude in the National Park of Majella, protected by suggestive canyons all around.
The
farmhouse takes its name from the
ancient stone structure made up of tholos, once used to place animal and food, today used for educational activities and purposes or sometimes, rented for a very special lunch/dinner in a very particular place.
The farm is surrounded by vast green areas, bushes and woods; in its 10 acres territory
it cultivates emmer, Solina wheat and grows sheeps and goats, which create the most tasty fresh cheese.
The farmhouse of
Abruzzo region offers its products to its guests; the most known include various types of wheat and
pasta, fresh chees, bread, and confitures. Particularly appreciated is the
Bread of Solina, made up of Solina wheat, Majella water, yeast, baked in the wood oven.
