
Tenuta Montelaura rises
among the chestnut and hazel of Irpinia, in the province of
Avellino, in a uncontaminated nature, near the
Amalfi Coast and the archaeological sites of
Pompei and Herculaneum.
Here nude stone and tuff dominate, from the external wall to the building, dating from the early twentieth century, renovated and expanded where are the rooms and the restaurant.
The interior, all in solid chestnut, are enriched with copper and straw objects.
In addition to raising cattle, sheep, pigs, the estate Monteluna is located in
a botanical garden with over 500 species, such as to allow the organization of tours and related courses. Among the plants there are also herbs such as
sage, bay leaves, rosemary, fennel, thyme, arugula, oregano, mint, which are also used for the preparation of typical dishes and products of the company.
