The farm "Casale Osvalda" is located in Alfiano Natta, in the heart of the
Monferrato. In this farm you can breathe the true scent of
Piedmont, thanks to growing local products such as nuts, vineyards and truffles.
On the slopes surrounding "Casale Osvalda", there is a forest where you collect the
chestnuts 'Tonda Gentile delle Langhe', a high-quality fruit, typical of the areas of
Langhe and
Monferrato which in 1993 obtained the Protected Geographical Indication.
With the green fruit is produced a famous liqueur,
Nocino, much sought after and prepared according to a recipe with a long tradition.
In addition, in the farmhouse Casale Osvalda, under oaks and hazelnut trees can be found also the precious
Piedmontese truffles.
The perfume that you feel walking through the paths of the park in autumn is 'a real invitation to look out for them.
Finally, the particularly
well-exposed vineyards create delicious red wines to enjoy with the local cuisine and to take home as souvenirs.
