Colonne Doriche Nettuno

The temple of Poseidon or Doric temple of Taranto is among the oldest times of Magna Grecia and is the only place of Greek worship, still visible in the Old Village. Of this ancient temple you can see today only the two columns of Doric order and also a base with 3 drums. According to testimonies, the temple is assumed to date back to the 5th and 8th century.
