Casale Refoli - Casa Vacanze in Toscana
Casale Refoli is an ancient Tuscan farmhouse detectable in the maps (dated 1824) of the "Catasto Leopoldino" with the name of "Podere Cetinaglia" (name very common in Tuscany from which the current location). Inhabited until time is not too far away from families of peasants of the "Val d'Elsa", which provided their livelihood by farming and breeding of animals.
Casale Refoli is located near the village of Casole d'Elsa in the province of Siena. Casole d'Elsa, of ancient Etruscan origin, is an important historical center of Val d'Elsa. Subject of contention between Florence and Volterra, the village of Casole d'Elsa owes its imposing walls of the Siena domain. Today, Casole d'Elsa is a town awarded the "Bandiera Arancione ", the mark of quality tourism environment that the Italian Touring Club attaches to the interior location for the development of quality tourism.
