VISIT LEVICO TERME; THE GREATEST SPA RESORT IN ITALY

written by Redazione Visit Italy

Ostuni città bianca

Levico Terme is known for being the home of natural springs in Italy.

Nestled in the Valsugana Valley, it is overshadowed by mountains and looks over Lake Levico.

The therapeutic springs for which it is famed are best visited between April and October when they flow with natural iron and arsenic, making a range of wellbeing treatments including mud baths, massages and flotation therapies the perfect relaxing activity.

For those wishing for a more energetic break, the mountains provide climbing and hiking, along with adrenaline sports in the summer and skiing in the winter, whilst the lake is ideal for swimming, watersports and taking in some of the natural flora and fauna.
