The town
Garlenda is a small, elegant town of Liguria, located a few kilometers from the famous seaside resort of Alassio.
Garlenda is set in the green Lerrone valley and is a place immersed in nature, away from the chaos of the many seaside towns on the coast, offering an oasis of tranquility and peace for those who want to avoid the crowds and prefer elegance and confidentiality.
Garlenda offers a small town to visit with a castle best known as the "Meridiana", a square, which offers its guests all the charm of the Middle Ages, but its strength is undoubtedly in the major parks, including the park of oak trees of "San Rocco", and many sports facilities, including the famous Garlenda Golf Club.
The Club is a meeting point for all tourists on the Riviera who are passionate about the sport. The 18-hole course is known throughout the world, modernly maintained and equipped. The Club also offers tennis courts, bowling greens, football pitches, swimming pool and sports hall.
In Garlenda one can stay at the hotel of the Golf Club or at the Meridiana Castle Hotel. Alternatively, all the accomodations of the Riviera are available to for a holiday of sport, sea and comfort.
